Fummy’s Grill, open since 1996, helped introduced “California Cuisine” to Tokyo.  A casual restaurant that only seats about 25, Fummy’s Grill now features fresh vegetables from Kamakura prepared with Asian and Western influences.

The menu changes at Fummy’s according to the season, the day’s ingredients, and the young chef’s mood, but soft shell crab, chicken salad, pastas and flap steak at mainstays.  Fummy’s also does a great job with their changing seafood menu, and I’ve had great raw oysters and uni there.

While Fummy’s is very friendly about corkage, please try some of the great California wines they feature on their very reasonably priced wine list.
